All Speedy Stitcher® sewing awls come with a bobbin of thread pre-loaded in the awl handle and two needles stored under the chuck lock of the awl. This makes using the awl easy to start using almost immediately. To get your awl set up, we have created a quick video to show the steps.

This same process can be used to add extra thread to your bobbin if you want to switch thread colors. You can simply wind the new thread on top of the pre-loaded thread or remove it, then replace it.
